🌟 Fran’s Journey Home: From Challenge to Triumph 🌟

Every recovery journey is unique and Fran’s story is one we are so proud to share. After a long and challenging road, Fran has successfully graduated from therapy at Vancrest and is ready to return home 🏡💛

During her stay, what made the biggest difference was the care and support from our team. Fran felt seen and valued, treated like a person, not just a patient. The encouragement, guidance, and kindness from every staff member helped her regain strength, confidence, and independence

Fran was also struck by how clean, welcoming, and positive the environment was, which made each day brighter and motivated her to keep pushing forward. The therapy team challenged her to do more each day, celebrating every milestone along the way

What Fran will remember most is the people, the staff who went above and beyond to help her succeed. She would recommend Vancrest to others because of the compassionate care, attention to detail, and the way everyone genuinely cares about each person’s journey

Fran’s story is a reminder that recovery is possible with perseverance, support, and the right team by your side. Congratulations, Fran, we are so thrilled to see you back home, happy, healthy, and thriving 👏✨

We’re kicking off our Walk to Wellness Program in the best way possible… with an Opening Day Baseball Party! 🎉

Our residents are ready to “round the bases” toward better health as we combine fun, fitness, and friendship all season long. From daily walks to team challenges, this program is all about staying active, feeling great, and enjoying every step together.

To celebrate the start of baseball season, we enjoyed:

🌷 Enjoy Spring Safely 🌷

Spring is here, which means more time outside enjoying the sunshine, fresh air, and blooming flowers but it’s also important to stay safe and healthy while you do it

Ways to Enjoy Spring Safely:
1️⃣ Check pollen forecasts before spending time outdoors to reduce allergy symptoms
2️⃣ Keep windows closed on high pollen days or use an air purifier indoors
3️⃣ Wear sunscreen daily to protect your skin from harmful UV rays
4️⃣ Use insect repellent to prevent bites from mosquitoes and ticks
5️⃣ Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water during outdoor activities
6️⃣ Wear supportive shoes and take care on uneven surfaces to prevent slips or falls
7️⃣ Stretch before gardening, walking, or other physical activities to avoid strains
8️⃣ Take breaks in the shade and avoid overexertion on hot days

A little preparation goes a long way toward enjoying all that spring has to offer safely and comfortably!
