Adair Site- Helpful Tips & Guidelines
We are excited to welcome everyone to Summer Club 2026! We have a few reminders and updates for parents and members as we kick off the summer season:
Summer Club Hours
• Monday - Friday
• 7am to 6pm
• June 1, 2026 - August 14, 2026
• Club is closed all weekends and July 3rd

• All exterior Club doors will remain locked at all times for safety and security. Parents and members will need to buzz in at the southeast door. During heavy drop-off and pick-up times, staff will do their best to monitor the door closely. If no one answers right away, please call the Club at 641-742-3119.

• All members will need to scan in and out each day. Member cards are ready and available to use!

• If members ride their bikes to Club, there is a bike rack located at the southwest end of the main building.

• Members who walk home will need a signed note from a parent/guardian or a phone call to the Club each day giving permission to leave.

• Please do not call or text staff members’ personal phones for Club-related communication, as they may not be at the Club or able to relay information promptly.

Field trip sign-ups are still open on our website at BGCAdair.org, and we still have a few spots available! Don’t wait too long, spots are limited and filling fast! 🚌☀️

June ‘26 marks 3 full years of business for Wheatey’s Polishing ‼️

We’re going to end Year 3 and start Year 4 with a bang and host our first ever Car Show right here at the shop 📍

The only way to enter is to call or text me at 641-740-7522 as I’ve only got a limited number of spots due to space and it’s already filling up!

Hungry Spartan Pizza will be on site serving food, Chance and Riggin will be handing out trophies for their “Favorite” of the show, and your $25 entry fee is getting donated back to the Boys & Girls Club in Adair as well as Elevate Adair 💰

Stop out on May 30th, enjoy the cars, enjoy some food, and have a good time.

I hope to see you all there. Another dream checked off the list. Thank you 🙏🏽

It seriously takes a village, and I could not be more thankful for mine! Huge thank you to Kahl Schneider , Tim James , Blair Carney, and Seth Comly for dropping everything and coming to help get things done for the Club.
That shade was way harder to put on than any of us expected, but not one complaint. Just a group of guys willing to give up part of their evening to help make sure the kids have what they need for Summer Club. Your time, hard work, and willingness to always step up never go unnoticed.
I truly appreciate each one of you more than you know. Thank you for always showing up and supporting the Club! One more thing checked off the never-ending to-do list before summer starts! 💪☀️🙌

Hey everyone with youth baseball, and softball games starting up this week. We are in need of umpires for all our 4/5 and 6/7 games. We need umpires so we can play these games so if you're able please sign up to umpire. Umpires need to be in High School or older. Attached is the Google Sheet we use for sign up.

Thank you to everyone who applied to work at the Club this summer! We are so grateful for the interest and excitement to be part of making this summer unforgettable for our kids.
