Meet Kaily Anstey, RN, Day Charge Nurse on Weekends!
Kaily has been a valued part of the Gold Crest team for seven years, serving as a weekend charge nurse every third weekend. She has one of the kindest hearts, and both residents and staff absolutely love her. Kaily brings a positive, happy presence to every shift and handles the stress that weekends can bring with grace and calmness. We are excited that she will be cross-training in additional areas soon and may be seen more on day shift! We are lucky to have her!
Kaily has always had a heart for helping others, & has been a nurse for 14 years— primarily in long-term care and rehabilitation. She has been with Gold Crest for 7 years this year and is thankful to be part of such a dedicated and caring team. She has also worked in Labor & Delivery, where she cherished the opportunity to help welcome new life into the world. Kaily feels deeply that nursing is her calling and is passionate about caring for others in meaningful, lasting ways.
She especially values the relationships she builds in long-term care, & appreciates getting the time to truly get to know each resident and honor their unique stories, rich histories, and life experiences—something she believes is a special and rewarding part of her work.
Outside of her career, Kaily is a proud mom to three energetic boys—Sawyer (9), Keaton (8), and Malcolm (5)—and has been with her husband, Josh, for 20 years, celebrating 11 years of marriage this year. Her family also has a cat named Louie, who thinks he’s king of the house. Life is full and joyful, often spent keeping up with her boys & all of their activities. Spending time with her family is one of her favorite things, whether they are traveling, making memories on new adventures, playing games, or simply spending cozy nights snuggled up together with pizza and a movie.
When she finds a quiet moment, Kaily enjoys getting lost in a good book, playing games, doing puzzles, and getting a good bike ride in.
We are so grateful for Kaylee’s compassion, positivity, and the calm strength she brings to our team!
