The "BC Expressions Gallery" is officially open, and it all started with a wonderful idea from resident May Fletcher!

May partnered with a dedicated team of residents to bring this vision to life, from choosing the gallery’s name to selecting its location and deciding which beautiful pieces would be displayed. Community administration worked with Mary to provide the materials needed to create the atmosphere she envisioned. The gallery is a special new space for residents to showcase their talents and for the community to enjoy the incredible artwork created by our resident artists! 🎨🖼️😊

Buckingham’s Choice residents enjoyed lunch while taking a walk down memory lane and watching planes take flight! This month’s Lunch Bunch visited Airways Inn of Frederick, a charming diner at the Frederick Municipal Airport. The outing was especially meaningful, with one resident who once worked closely with pilots and their schedules and two others who were pilots themselves back in the day, including one who even spotted the plane she used to own. ✈️ 🍽️

The Religious Life Committee at Buckingham’s Choice sponsored an engaging presentation on Buddhism that sparked thoughtful reflection and conversation! 🧘‍♀️🌿

Residents welcomed Eileen Dolan‑Han Hsu, Lay Minister of Xi Lio Temple, who shared insights on “What it means to walk the path with the Buddha,” and guided the group through a meditation experience.

It was a meaningful opportunity for learning, reflection, and peaceful connection within our community! 🙏✨

Erika Clary, Intern, has been a meaningful part of life at Buckingham's Choice for the past nine months as she completed her Clinical Pastoral Education Certification during her ordination process in the Church of the Brethren! 🙏

She joyfully spent time with residents in OBT and WBC, assisted with Sunday worship, and led the “Wondering about the Women” Bible Study. Her presence will truly be missed on campus, and we wish her all the best and many blessings on the journey ahead! ✨

Buckingham's Choice was proud to partner with the Frederick County Music Teachers Association to host their annual piano recital. The afternoon showcased the incredible talents of students ranging from elementary to high school, and they truly impressed! 🎶👏

🧵 Darla Agnes, Business Office Manager, is spreading her creativity beyond quilting by hosting "Decorations with Darla" arts & crafts sessions.

🍳 Terri Cappolella, Human Resources Coordinator, keeps delighting residents with her fun and flavorful cooking classes.

🏐 Dawn Beall, Life Engagement Director, has doubled the size of her energetic Hot Shot Volleyball group!

💪The Fitness and Rehab Team at Buckingham's Choice celebrated our amazing residents who completed the 60‑Day SECA Body Composition Challenge!

Fitness Director Marcus Barnes organized a fantastic event featuring healthy refreshments, fun trivia games, a fitness‑inspiration board, and certificates of accomplishment for all participants.

A special congratulations to Maxine Casey, who received a certificate for the most significant transformation! 🏆
