Chatterbox Therapy’s AAC Winter Wonderland is almost here, and we need your help to make the ✨magic✨ happen!

We are needing 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 for:
❄️𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟮 (𝟱:𝟬𝟬–𝟵:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠) for set-up and decorating
❄️𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟯 (𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠–1𝟮:𝟰𝟱 𝗣𝗠) for several stations including holiday crafts, cookie decorating, and toy adapting

💻We are also looking for someone with access to a 𝟯𝗗 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 to help us 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝟴𝟬 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟳. We will provide all materials and instructions.

Chatter Academy students worked hard on a project for their acts of kindness week! But first you need to know the story-

A few months ago , our wonderful Addison Fire Department came to visit and show us around their cool trucks!

Our staff had some amazing conversations with this incredible team and an idea was born. Sensory and communication bags for their trucks- but it didn’t just stop at Addison’s trucks but for all cities and trucks in DFW.

So our mission has begun to help stock DFW trucks with sensory friendly items and communication boards AND teach them how to communicate and support various needs in high stress situations.

While our older students worked hard on packaging and preparing and the materials- our littles made a quick pit stop to tour the station and drop of these amazing bags for our friends at Addison!

Sensory bags are coming soon for purchase- not just for our first responders but for doctors, dentist and even personal car bags.
