🎃🕸️ October at KidSpeak = Halloween Magic! 👻🧡

October was spook-tacular! Our therapy sessions were filled with all things Halloween — from stories and art to play, language, and laughter!

We explored:
📚 Halloween books & storytelling
🎨 Halloween art & pumpkin decorating
🗣️ Vocabulary practice — spooky vs. scary
🏚️ Haunted house pretend play
👻 Hungry Ghost Game & Halloween dominoes
🎭 Monster Go Fish & pretend dress-up
🍬 Trick-or-treat role play (practice & pretend!)

Every activity was packed with language, imagination, social skills, and FUN! ✨ We loved seeing our kids learn, laugh, and grow while getting into the Halloween spirit.

🎃🧡 Pumpkins & Jack O Lantern Fun 🧡🎃

This week a few of our kids had a blast decorating pumpkins and creating Jack O Lanterns! From painting and sticker pumpkins to carving and decorating, our kiddos had a blast bringing their ideas to life.

Each activity was filled with learning moments — following directions, giving directions, taking turns, cheering for friends, offering compliments, building conversations, and so much more! 🍂✨

We love how much creativity and teamwork our kids showed this week — every pumpkin (and every smile!) was one-of-a-kind. 🧡

👻✨ Sparkly Ghosts Alert! ✨👻

This week a few of Ms. Amanda and Ms. Laura’s kids had so much fun creating these sparkly ghosts!

Such a fun way to work on following directions, group planning, problem solving, conversations and more!

We started with black canvases, added some glue-stick magic, and finished with shiny gold paper — and the results were boo-tiful! 🖤💛

Happy Friyay! We had an amazing morning and early afternoon filled with great collaboration in our Second Free Fall Parent Conferences.

We know it is only the "End of October " -- but once Halloween comes/goes next week the rest of the semester will go lightening fast! Please check out website for our upcoming dates to know when we are closed, when payments are due, when registration forms are due, and more.

KidSpeak, LLC is excited to open enrollment for undergraduate student volunteers for the Spring 2026 semester! If you're studying Communication Disorders, Education, Special Education, or Early Childhood Development, this is a fantastic hands-on opportunity to build your skills, gain experience, and make a difference in children’s lives.

Spring 2026 Groups Are Coming!

We are super excited about all of our Friendship Camp Groups this Spring.

All groups will begin the week of January 5, 2025 and go through May 8, 2025!

All groups are led by Speech-Language Pathologists or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants. Each group is 100% designed to meet the needs of each individual child enrolled.

All of our groups are 100% deigned to meet the needs of each individual child enrolled. Each group will focus on increasing your child’s language skills (expressive and receptive), play skills, social play skills, social communication skills, emotional regulation skills classroom skills, executive functioning skills, theory of mind and perspective taking skills, social skills and more with both peers and adults through the use of a variety of evidence-based practices. Each group utilizes the SCERTS® Model (by Prizant, Wetherby, Rubin, & Laurent) and then combines elements of other models of therapy that collaborate well together such as elements from Social Thinking® (by Michelle Garcia Winner), and more.

💜 These groups meet one day week on Mondays through Thursdays from 5:30 - 6:30 or 6:30 - 7:30

🗓️ Registration deadline: Friday, December 12, 2025 (or sooner if groups fill!)
