We proudly congratulate Professor Marek Rudnicki, MD, PhD — former president of the Polish American Medical Society — on his induction into the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences (Polska Akademia Umiejętności, PAU).

This prestigious recognition places him among an elite community of scholars within one of Europe’s oldest and most esteemed scientific institutions. Founded in 1872 and revitalized after 1989, the PAU continues to unite leading Polish and international researchers.

The conference kicked off with a lively welcome reception at the Polish Embassy in Vilnius, where participants were greeted by Deputy Mayor Simona Bieliūnė and Poland’s Chargé d’Affaires Grzegorz Marek Poznański 🇵🇱🇱🇹. Guests were treated to joyful performances by the “100 Smiles” youth group and singer Ewa Szturo 🎶😊

The official opening on November 6 featured the artistic group “Perła”, shining a spotlight on Polish-Lithuanian culture ✨. Each evening wrapped up with relaxed networking sessions! 🤝🌙

A standout moment came on Friday with “Mission Impossible: Night Agents”—a citywide field game that turned young medics into full-on nighttime adventurers 🕵️‍♂️🌌. For some, it truly was a mission impossible 🤩

On November 8, participants explored Vilnius and Trakai on a sightseeing trip 🏰 before ending the conference in style at the Energy and Technology Museum ⚡. The night closed with a dazzling “Tesla Show” and all-night dancing with the DJ 💃🕺🎧

From November 5 to 8, 2025, the first Forum of Young Medical Professionals—organized by the board of the Polish Medical Association in Lithuania—was held at the Polish Cultural Center in Vilnius. This international medical conference brought together students, residents, and young physicians of Polish descent from around the world to share insights and experiences from their medical practice in various countries 🌎

The program featured 23 lectures highlighting the latest advancements in medicine, including the growing role of artificial intelligence in diagnostics and treatment. The event welcomed 150 participants and 42 speakers representing 13 countries: Belarus 🇧🇾, France 🇫🇷, Spain 🇪🇸, Lithuania 🇱🇹, Moldova 🇲🇩, the Netherlands 🇳🇱, Germany 🇩🇪, Norway 🇳🇴, Poland 🇵🇱, the United States 🇺🇸, Sweden 🇸🇪, Ukraine 🇺🇦, and the United Kingdom 🇬🇧

The Polish American Medical Society (PAMS) was well represented among the speakers 🔊

Our President, Dr. Josephine Dlugopolski-Gach lectured on her expertise in medical education and mentoring, while board representative Dr. Evelyn Konsur provided expert insider insight of new biologics in the field of Allergy and Immunology 🤧

Former Junior PAMS President and current Vice President of FPOM, Dr. Adam Studniarek played a key role in preparing the conference and served as a moderator for several discussion panels.

Current PAMS members who participated in lectures and panels included Dr. Tomasz Podobinski, Tomasz Kokocinski DPT, Dr. Caroline Piekos, Dr. Patryk Piekos, Dr. Angie Trybulska, Dr. Alex Nowicki, Sandra Necka M4 and Dr. Kajetan Ochwat🩺 🏥

The conference was further distinguished by the presence of honored guests, including:
