It was great to see all of our police partners throughout the county participate in the Cop on a rooftop at Dunkin to support the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.

🌻This uplifting breakfast will feature NEDFYS staff, clients, and partners, highlighting our agency's transformative work to bring hope and mental wellness to our communities. This year, NEDFYS will celebrate our 15-year partnership with DuPage County Juvenile Probation to provide highly effective family-based interventions to divert youth from further involvement in the juvenile justice system. We expect over 120 participants, including police officers, judges, probation officers, mental health workers, business leaders, philanthropists, community leaders, and state and local elected officials.

It was great to be at Stratford last week to talk about Anxiety and Stress amongst middle schoolers during this testing season!

Stallion Strong is one of our many wellness groups that host monthly wellness pop ups during lunch hours. Each month we have survey questions, in February we asked what is the number one thing stressing or overwhelming them right now. No surprisingly, the number 1 response was testing and school assignments. With their survey feedback we were able to put together this engaging presentation with coping skills and tools to use!
