Tomorrow is New Moms Social Hour! If you see that our location, Waukee Wellness, is closed, don't worry! Moms group is still happening. The Chiropractic team is away at a conference but we are still having group feom 10am-11am.

It was a busy summer! Sharing these photos (with permission) of the bliss after a baby arrives. Skin to skin and bonding is so important right after birth. Besides doula babies also attended 4 homebirths as a birth assistant. And a childbirth class wrapped up in July (missing one couple).

I also get to start a new chapter as an empty nester as I dropped off my youngest to ISU in August.

Such a great addition to our birth community! And I’m blessed to be a small part of it!

✨ Big news! ✨ Our midwifery practice is moving! We are so excited to share that we’ve found the perfect home in Adel, Iowa—a beautiful Victorian house that will one day become our new birth center. 🏡💜 We are still offering homebirth services. 😊

Leaving Des Moines is bittersweet, but we are thrilled to bring cozy, home-like birth experiences closer to families in Adel and the surrounding areas. This house has so much warmth and character, and we can’t wait to welcome you through its doors.

Here’s to new beginnings, sacred spaces, and building a community where birth is honored as the miracle it truly is. 🌿👶
