Back to school! Thank you Blue Kindness for supporting our Student Citizens of the Month.

Congratulations to Isaiah Pierce on being selected as the August APD Student Citizen of the Month!

His teachers write: Isaiah has opened doors for others in a wheelchair without asking. He says hello to everyone he meets whether he knows them or not. He tries very hard to be kind. He sees others as themselves and accepts them for who they are.

Isaiah was presented an APD Student Citizen Challenge Coin and a coupon for a Dominos Pizza by School Resource Officer Monte Keller! Great work Isaiah!

You may also have been notified by mail via the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce. We will make multiple attempts using flyers starting on Tuesday 8/4 to let residents know about the coming closures.🌽

The Adel Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance. In the early morning of 05/30/2025 the subject in the video used a rock to break the window of the Family Dollar store in Adel. The subject then proceeded steal alcohol and to***co products. Detectives have obtained additional surveillance but is seeking any additional tips or details.
