✨Today, there's a 100% chance of mischief, whiskers, and chaos. It's International Cat Day, and we're feline fine about it.✨

With every dramatic meow, midnight zoomie, impromptu game of hide-n-seek, and trash can dive, our little friends keep us laughing, guessing, and loving more and more each day. So give your cat an extra treat. (You already did, didn't you?)

If your pet's scratching more than they usually do, chewing on their paws, or sneezing a lot, it might be more than summer bugs.

Just like us humans, pets can have allergies too, and can react to all kinds of things within their environment:

🌾 Grass, pollen, or mold
🐜 Flea bites or dust mites
🍗 Certain foods or ingredients
🧼 Household cleaners or grooming products

Allergy symptoms can be from mild to severe, show up as chronic ear infections, hot spots, or even digestive issues. If your pet seems constantly uncomfortable, talk to your vet. Getting on top of the issue can make a world of difference.

Pets are probably the best thing to ever happen to humans. There, we said it. But if you don't believe us, take a second to think about it. 🤔

They do it without even trying, really. Pets remind us to play, to forgive, to nap, and to love limitlessly. Honestly, they might be the best life coaches around.

So today, if you haven't already, don't forget to give your pets their flowers. And hey, if we're lucky, they'll continue teaching us how to be a little more like them every day. ✨

It's no secret that we kind of LOVE pets around here. But we also love the pet parents that do such an amazing job caring their faithful companions. 🐶😎🐱

The love you show your pets, and the way you share that love with us, fills our little corner of the internet with joy. And we're grateful for every moment you choose to share.

Thank you, pets and pet parents, for reminding us daily why pets really do make life better. 💖

Doctor and vet visits might not be your favorite appointments to make — for human and animals alike. But they're necessary, and how you get ready for your pet's next vet trip can make a huge difference in their and your experience.

Whether it's packing a blanket or toy from home, bringing treats, jotting down your questions and concerns before you go, or making sure your pet's medical records are updated, anything you can do to reduce stress before the vet is a good idea.

Again, regular check-ups are important, but let's make them a little less stressful and little more productive when we can.
