We are looking for volunteers for some up and coming project.
July 26th @ 1:30pm.
We are doing the “Then Feed Just One” project.
We will be making a food packet that will feed one child for 6 meals.
These are being sent to children around the world.
For more information you may check out their website at
www.thenfeedjustone.org

This is a company based out of LeMars, Iowa.

We will have many “stations” set up in the dining room and people will walk around with a bag and someone puts a certain amount in the bag and then they move to the next station until they’ve gone through every station. Then they get weighed and sealed.

This should hopefully only take an hour.
Many hands make light work.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The other project is a craft project.
July 29th at 1:30pm
We will be making a wall hanging for outside the resident’s door.
These are done with 12in round wood, stencils and paint.
The more hands we have the faster it will go

The goal is to make one of these for every season.
All volunteers are welcome. Have your older grandkids with you, bring them along.
The residents love having people around.
Also, if you have any stencils that are summer based and would fit a 12in round board, that you're no longer using we'd gladly take them off your hands.

Coffee will to follow after the crafts.

Please contact Deb in Activities

If I'm not available to answer the phone, please leave a voicemail. I will get back to you at my earliest convenience.

Sharing a few things that we have done this month so far with the residents in the activity department. Everything from balloon volleyball to planting in our raised beds when the weather was much warmer. We have many gardners who love to raise vegetable's and flowers. Still have more vegetables to plant once the rain stops and things get a little more dry.
We're a little short on the flower part. But hopefully as we go along we can snag a few plants here and there.
A huge shout out to Adrian Building Center for the donation of the building materals and Darrell Nielson for the time and effort to build those wonderful raised beds for us. The residents really love them!!
