We’ve had a busy summer this year at Lenawee Medical Care Facility. Here’s just a few pictures from some of our adventures these past few months.

Our 2025 Resident Parade was a hit! Thank you so much to our participants for joining us, Lenawee County Sheriff's Office, the Adrian High School Marching Band, Adrian Fire Department, Kiwanis Club of Adrian, Alzheimer's Association, Brookdale Adrian, Hospice of Lenawee, Maurice Spear Drum Core & Color Guard, the 40&8 Train, the Michigan Wheelmen, and family and friends driving classic cars - we even saw the return of dogs in a Jeep! The evening wrapped up with ice cream and a performance by the AHS Marching Band, and a lot of smiles.

Our Life Enrichment team chose a "Life is Sweet at LMCF" theme this year, and once again, we are reminded that this community takes great care to make our facility a special place for our residents. Thank you, to our community, and to our team, for making this such a great night for those in our care!

We had tremendous support from our teams this year, who put together these awesome baskets. Now, it's time to bid! Lenawee Medical Care Facility Issues Clarification Regarding Inaccurate Lawsuit Allegations

Adrian, MI – July 30, 2025 – Lenawee Medical Care Facility is issuing this press release to clarify an inaccurate press release that was mistakenly distributed, alleging a lawsuit had been filed against our facility.

The previously distributed press release was erroneous and alleged that the United States, on behalf of the Internal Revenue Service, had filed a lawsuit against the facility claiming that the facility received payouts totaling $3.5 million in tax credits for the federal Employee Retention Credit Program but failed to meet eligibility requirements.

Lenawee Medical Care Facility has filed a lawsuit against the United States as the facility has been denied the Employee Retention Credits by the IRS and believe they were eligible for this program. The facility is also working with the media on a retraction and a more accurate story.

Lenawee Medical Care Facility remains committed to transparency and open communication with the residents of Lenawee County and the media.
