April's Monthly Menu is dedicated to reading 🩷📚💜

As most of you know... when I'm not working, at a rock concert, or hiking, my nose is in a book! I set reading goals every year and it's one of the few times I can quiet my mind. World book day is also celebrated in April on the 23rd, and in long standing traditions, people gift someone they love and value a book and a rose on that day.

So, lets celebrate April with some specials dedicated to reading!
*I'm currently reading a "universe" series that has 4 separate series for a total of 29 books that all tie together.... what are you reading?

Vacation starts tomorrow and several have asked me if we are playing "Where's Rebecca" like we normally do when the shop is closed. As much as I absolutely love playing that game with you all and making you use your brains, I need a break.

Since Nov 18th, I have worked every day (most days both jobs) except for the 1 snow day. That's 113 consecutive days of 12+ hours of work, most days averaging 17hrs. I need this time to rest and recharge my body and soul. I apologize for stepping away for a week, but I plan to keep building this dream of mine and that requires me to take time for myself occasionally.

I will definitely post a few photos and say Hi, but I will mostly be offline and in the moment. Mom and I need a little R&R. We will see you when we get back.

Apologies for posting late, I had to go straight to the 2nd job this afternoon.

We filled $65 on the $5 Pot Shot this weekend... congratulations Denise! I'll have your $33 at Affton next time you are in with your basket you won.

We filled $80 on the $10 Pot Shot and no one won, so I will donate $40 to a local foundation.
