Our sweet trip to Baskin-Robbins was a full-on flavor adventure from Cherry Jubilee and Jamocha Almond Fudge to Cookie Dough and Daiquiri Ice.
Some of us cooled off with tropical scoops, while others took on the Banana Split challenge like pros.

It was a perfect day in St. Louis—sunny skies, delicious treats, and unforgettable company.

Here’s to 31 flavors and a million memories!

We had an incredible time at Family Day yesterday, bringing color, creativity, and connection to life through our one-of-a-kind Artbrellas! ☂️🎨

A huge thank-you to all the families who joined us—you brought the smiles, the spirit, and some seriously impressive designs. We’re blown away by the talent (and teamwork!) and can’t wait to show off your creations in the upcoming competition.

At Spectrum Retirement Communities, we believe that creativity can spark connection, storytelling, and even change. Each umbrella is a canvas of hope—designed by our residents, families, and teams to honor memories, raise awareness, and reflect the spirit of their community. These stunning Artbrellas will be proudly showcased at your local Walk to End Alzheimer’s® and other Spectrum fundraising events.

-Chella wasn’t just a fundraiser—it was a celebration of community, creativity, and care.

Despite the heat, our supporters showed up in full force to help raise funds for Alzheimer’s—a cause close to so many of our hearts. Together, we played with goats, painted faces, bid on silent auction items, and shared countless smiles.

One of our favorite moments? When young Mylo won the raffle and got to decorate Libby the goat with markers—proof that joy truly spans generations.

Carla is a talented local artist from the St. Louis area who brings inspiration and creativity to the residents at Southview!

Carla’s art class is a resident favorite. Twice a month, she guides everyone through a new chalk art design, offering encouragement and hands-on help. With lots of smudging, blending, and a little mess, each class brings out creativity and leaves our residents feeling proud and inspired.

At her most recent visit, Carla created a custom Alzheimer’s-themed artwork just for us. We’re thrilled to share that her larger original piece will be auctioned off, with all proceeds benefiting our Alzheimer’s Association team page.
