In the aftermath of the fire, people have reached out asking how they can help. We are overwhelmed with gratitude with the beautiful community that surrounds us during this time and for each and every one of you, thank you.

The fire destroyed so much that was in it's path including therapy offices, therapeutic supplies, the therapist's own personal supplies they use to do this work, and all of the horse care products and tools. A GoFundMe and an Amazon Wishlist have been created in order to help replace the therapy tools and animal care products that were lost in the fire. We also hope to create a small memorial for Odin, Yuki, Cheese, and Quackers.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your support 🤍

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share this news. Last week, we experienced a devastating fire that destroyed our barn and therapy offices at the Woodbury location of Wild Acres Wellness. While we're grateful that all humans and horses survived, we are heartbroken to share that we lost several beloved therapy animals: Yuki the bunny, Odin the kitten, and our two ducks, Cheese and Quakers.
These animals weren't just part of our practice—they were cherished members of our therapeutic family who brought comfort, joy, and healing to countless clients and therapists alike. For our clients who formed special bonds with Yuki, Odin, Cheese, and Quakers, this loss is especially difficult. And for our team members who cared for these animals daily, the grief is equally profound.

Through this setback, we remain committed to our mission of providing healing and support through animal and nature-based therapy. As we know more about the next steps of Wild Acres, we will share as we are able. For now, we will grieve, process, and reflect on the cherished memories that we all have. Thank you to each and every one of you who are a part of this community and for your ongoing support and understanding during this time. ❤️‍🩹

As nature calls us to slow down, winter is a great time to reflect on our sleep patterns and set healthy habits in place. Sleep and wellness are so closely connected and promoting good sleep is a worthy endeavor!
