Musica Humana Therapeutic Massage is owned and created by Hollie VanDerHeide, LMT. Appointments available BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Monday through Saturday.

Musica Humana is closed on Sundays (except for one Sunday per month). Call, email, or check our online schedule anytime to make an appointment. Please see hours listed for availability. Pricing:
INTEGRATIVE OR PRENATAL MASSAGE: $45 per 30 minutes, $65 per 60 minutes, $95 per 90 minutes
CUPPING THERAPY or HOT STONE MASSAGE: $75 per 60 Minutes, $105 per 90 Minutes
CHAIR MASSAGE: $12 per 10 Minute

Credit Card Policy: A credit card number is required to reserve an appointment time. Your card will NOT be charged unless the appointment is missed without proper notification. See the following for our cancellation policy:

Cancellation/Late Policy:
Unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, snowstorms, and illness are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients, we have adopted the following
policies:

1) 24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule a massage.

2) Late cancellations or missed sessions will be charged 50% of the session. Payment is required prior to your next appointment.

3) Last minute changes to appointments will be charged for the highest priced service.

4) Client substitution will waive any cancellation fee! We will make every attempt to fill your appointment, but if you find someone to take your place we will be grateful!

5) Try to arrive at least 5 minutes early to your appointment so that your therapist will have time to do a quick intake with you before starting your session right on schedule. If you are late, your therapist will give you the best possible massage in the time available.

School is out for the summer! Please be aware that Hollie's hours will change temporarily due to childcare arrangements. She also has several weekend camping trips planned that will limit her availability. Thank you for your understanding. Enjoy your summer fun!

NOTICE: Due to staffing shortage Musica Humana will no longer be accepting new clients. If you have a gift certificate please contact us ASAP to get on a waiting list for the next available appointment. Gift certificate sales are now restricted to current clients only. If you are a Licensed Massage Therapist in New York State looking to pick up a few extra appointments on evenings and weekends - WE NEED YOU!

With her children getting involved in after school activities, a therapist is needed to cover evening and weekend appointments. With winter weather in the forecast comes the annual notice about office closures: Musica Humana will be closed if Afton School closes due to the fact that Hollie will have to be home with her children. I will reach out to anyone who has their appointment displaced due to weather and will open up on a day that I am normally off to accommodate rescheduled sessions. What is Musica Humana?

Boethius was a philosopher of the early 6th Century who wrote De Institutione Musica in which he classified music into three categories:

1.Musica Mundana: the highest form of music, it is the rhythm of the heavens, the motions of the planets, and the rotation of the earth. Perfection.

2.Musica Humana: the second form, not as pure as the first, it is the harmony of the human body (all the systems working together for one purpose) and of the spirit and soul.
