Musica Humana Therapeutic Massage is owned and created by Hollie VanDerHeide, LMT. Appointments available BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Monday through Saturday.

Musica Humana is closed on Sundays (except for one Sunday per month). Call, email, or check our online schedule anytime to make an appointment. Please see hours listed for availability. Pricing:
INTEGRATIVE OR PRENATAL MASSAGE: $45 per 30 minutes, $65 per 60 minutes, $95 per 90 minutes
CUPPING THERAPY or HOT STONE MASSAGE: $75 per 60 Minutes, $105 per 90 Minutes
CHAIR MASSAGE: $12 per 10 Minutes

Credit Card Policy: A credit card number is required to reserve an appointment time. Your card will NOT be charged unless the appointment is missed without proper notification. See the following for our cancellation policy:

Cancellation/Late Policy:
Unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, snowstorms, and illness are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients, we have adopted the following
policies:

1) 24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule a massage.

2) Late cancellations or missed sessions will be charged 50% of the session. Payment is required prior to your next appointment.

3) Last minute changes to appointments will be charged for the highest priced service.

4) Client substitution will waive any cancellation fee! We will make every attempt to fill your appointment, but if you find someone to take your place we will be grateful!

5) Try to arrive at least 5 minutes early to your appointment so that your therapist will have time to do a quick intake with you before starting your session right on schedule. If you are late, your therapist will give you the best possible massage in the time available.

Like many businesses, operational costs are ever increasing, and small changes need to be made to continue offering reliable high-quality service. In 2026 there will be an adjustment to the price for add-on services only. For any gift certificate sales with add-ons, the increase is effective now. We value the trust you place in us and we are committed to delivering the level of care and professionalism you expect.

We are THRILLED to announce that LMT Marina will be joining our office in January! Marina is accepting new clients and will be staffing evening and weekend hours! Musica Humana Massage will be open 7 days a week starting January 4th, 2026! It's going to be a FANTASTIC way to start the new year!

Good morning massage family! The office is open today until noon. Please remember that today is parade day here in Afton and there are activities going on all day. If you cannot find a parking spot on Main Street, there is parking behind NBT Bank as well or in the lower parking lot by the old Horton hardware building. What is Musica Humana?

Boethius was a philosopher of the early 6th Century who wrote De Institutione Musica in which he classified music into three categories:

1.Musica Mundana: the highest form of music, it is the rhythm of the heavens, the motions of the planets, and the rotation of the earth. Perfection.

2.Musica Humana: the second form, not as pure as the first, it is the harmony of the human body (all the systems working together for one purpose) and of the spirit and soul.
