Our Men’s Club had a wonderful gathering this month! Our Resident Jeff hosted the group and led some fun and engaging topics that sparked great conversation and plenty of laughs among fellow residents. It’s always a great time when everyone comes together to connect and enjoy each other’s company. Our talented chef prepared a delicious meal of beef ravioli with vodka sauce, which everyone enjoyed along with refreshments and beer. 🍝🍻

Our residents had a fantastic time making cards using rubber block stamping! It was such a fun and creative activity, and everyone enjoyed designing their own unique cards. Now they have beautiful handmade cards to send to their loved ones and friends. We will definitely be doing this activity again!♥️♥️♥️

Here’s what’s new for our Residents here at Oakmont of Agoura Hills! Every third Friday of the month our amazing Chef and his talented culinary team prepare a pasta bar for our Residents for dinner. The Residents have the choice of penne pasta or spaghetti noodles, marinara sauce, alfredeo sauce or pesto sauce, choice of chicken, ground beef or ground sausage, and a variety of cooked seasonal veggies, topped off with cheese and breadsticks. The Residents got to watch their pasta dish prepared and cooked right in front of them. This was a huge success, the Residents loved it!! 🍝🌱🥦🧄🥖🍝♥️

Our monthly Supper Club was amazing, this month our WONDERFUL Executive Director Lily invited our Memoy Care Director Estefania and our Traditions Activity Coordinator Hannah to join her along with some of our Residents. Chef never dissapoints, for this special occasion., Chef prepared a wedge salad, grilled chicken breast with a white wine cream sauce, garlic mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus, followed by petite cheesecake with rasberry glaze eaxh plated for each Resident. Every month Lily will invite eight different Residents and a different director to join her for our Oakmont Supper Club. This is a time for our Residents to get to know our Directors on a personal level. Our Residents that have attended Supper Club have really enjoyed it, the ones that have not are looking forward to it. ♥️

Happy Chinese New Year - Year of the Fire Horse “Ma Dao Cheng Gong”. Our Chef and his talented culinary team prepared Chinese themed dishes for dinner starting off with Hot & Sour Soup. The Residents had the choice of Oakmont Signature Rotisserie Chicken with Sweet & Sour Sauce or Kung Pao Shrimp Stir Fry Shrimp with Onions, Bell Peppers, Celery, Roasted Cashews, Green Onions, Water Chestnuts topped with Hoisin Sauce along with Vegetable chow Mein & Steamed White Rice, Steamed Broccoli, ending with Green Tea Ice Cream. 🥢🥡🥠🧧🍚🎉♥️

Today our Executive Chef did a Chef Demo for our Traditions Residents. Chef Jorge used the EverSound microphone headset so our Residents could hear Chef explain the steps of the demo though the EverSound headphones! 👨‍🍳🎧🎤💚
