Not every gym has the belt squat machine ... definitely a favorite of mine . Here is an easy adaptation with a belt , two risers , and the landmine . I could more glute work than quad without the machine handles but it worked great overall. Give this a try sometime !

Today is about SHOWING UP. Many don’t know but I take care of my 82 year told mom and the last few days have been absolutely exhausting between doctors/calls/poo/pee/sleepless nights. In addition to training /scheduling /being supportive to over 30 clients during the week and running my own house. To squeeze in a workout in between is the last thing I want to do! BUT I MADE room , said no to others /things, to make the time for ME.
You may think it’s easy for me …. It’s not . I have more going on than people think and I have obstacles just like you. Go get to it ! You are worth it. Take care of your health . ❤️

Working on it ! ⛳️It’s been a little while since i hit balls last…. It’s like starting over !🙄 you’d think a stationary ball with stationary feet would be easy to hit well . 🤷🏻‍♀️

Had to get a picture with Billy Blanks! He made the Tae Bo workouts I did religiously after having kids in my 20s! I would do his kickboxing workouts while the kids were napping … my first inspiration to workout consistently. I owe it to him for sure! He was such a humble and nice man . Still looks good too!💪 I would definitely say he was a huge influence in my life to start fitness and stick to it ! My goodness have I evolved since then . What a health journey it has been since my early 20s!!!

These ladies are over 600 years old all together !!! Ranging from in ages from early 70s to their mid 90s! EVERY.SINGLE. MORNING they meet up and do machines, cables, bands , and some cardio. They are sharp mentally and look amazing! Exercise has to be done FOREVER. It has to be a PRIORITY in your day no matter how busy you are. We are going into 2025 , make it a new phase of your life. How I got here...my fitness story

I am a mom in my mid 40's that loves fitness and helping others reach their health and fitness goals! I started my career as a bilingual elementary school teacher over 19 years ago. I had my two children and decided to work part time teaching and during that time, had many ups and downs within my own fitness journey. Between raising kids, running to practices, cooking for a family, and life in general, I had to find a balance between my family, working, and trying to find the time to keep myself healthy and in shape. Each decade of life has definitely brought a new perspective on how I eat and train myself. I decided 4 years ago to get certified as a NASM personal trainer and I haven't looked back since. Truthfully, I enjoying watching clients progress not only physically but mentally as well. As one gets older, you realize it's not about what you look like but how you feel. I have had numerous setbacks throughout the years with injuries, surgeries, and overall age issues. They are roadblocks that a person has to navigate around and find a detour. Now that my kids are older and I have more free time, I play USTA tennis regularly, enjoy hiking, water skiing and snow skiing. I did a Spartan Beast (planning on doing a TriFecta by the end of 2018), and started lap swimming for cardio in addition to my workouts. Life fitness is a journey... Let me help you find a new healthy you! Remember, healthy eating and exercise are forever, find things you love.
