Our Kona team had a fun ‘Ohana Day at KBXtreme filled with bowling, ‘ono food, crazy games and family and friends. It was great seeing each other outside of the lab, sharing laughs and a little friendly competition. Days like this remind us that at DLS, aloha isn’t just something we talk about — it’s how we show up for each other, in and out of work.

Mahalo to ASCLS Hawaii for putting on a wonderful Clinical Laboratory Conference this past weekend. We had a great time networking with current lab professionals from across the state and meeting students studying to be future lab professionals that we hope to see in our halls someday soon!

We had a great ‘ohana day on Kaua‘i this past weekend. There were fun games, homemade food and mini glow in the dark golf with our employees and their families.

This year’s Heart Walk was one to remember!

Mahalo to the DLS employees (and their ‘ohana) who joined us across five teams, and to our Lōkahi crew who made the day extra special with food, shirts and even slush floats.

You might notice our President, Mark Wasielewski, rocking bright red hair in the photos. That’s because he promised to dye it if DLS took first place in the Heart Walk’s Move More Challenge. And we did! (Watch the video to see Mark's makeover.)

Together, we raised $23,000 for the American Heart Association - Hawaii, supporting research, education and healthier communities across Hawai‘i.

We are so proud of our DLS ‘ohana for showing up with heart. ❤️

Our Hilo ‘Ohana Day was filled with great food, fun games and a fantastic movie. It was a special time for our employees and their families to relax and get to know each other outside of the lab. They do great work year round and we're grateful that they are all a part of the DLS ‘ohana!

Our Hilo team members and their families participated in the American Cancer Society Hawaii Island Relay for Life this past weekend. There were lots of fun booths from other local businesses, live music, a home cooked meal provided by our O‘ahu Lōkahi team - and it was all for an important cause.

We're grateful to have employees that care for our community both in and out of the workplace!

We had a great time at Wet 'n Wild Hawai‘i for our ‘Ohana Day celebration this past weekend! Over 450 people joined us - employees and their families and friends - for some fun in the sun.
