💕 Meet Cole and his mommy, Lora! Cole was born prematurely and needed surgery before he could start to breastfeed. In the meantime, Lora pumped milk to nourish him every step of the way. Every breastfeeding journey is different, and at Kaiser Permanente Hawaii, we're here to support them all.

🍨 Our Moanalua Medical Center was filled with aloha during our recent ice cream social, where staff and community members gathered to enjoy sweet treats and good company. It was a heartwarming reminder of the power of connection and a little indulgence.

🎓 Congratulations to four outstanding Maui students — Mary Joy Velasquez, Jasmyn Yun, Kylie Cardenas, and Kaysa Ong — on graduating from the Diagnostic Imaging Summer Experience!
This eight-week paid internship, made possible through our partnership with the University of Hawai'i Maui College, gave these future health care heroes hands-on training in X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound. They also earned college credit and received mentorship from our dedicated Kaiser Permanente clinical team.
We’re proud to support programs that inspire local students to pursue careers in health care and help strengthen Hawaii’s medical workforce.

Our Kaiser Permanente Hawaii Sleep Center has relocated to Moanalua Medical Center.

The Sleep Lab is located on the second floor of the Malama Ohana Building. The Sleep Center’s business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., by appointment. Sleep studies are by appointment only. Members who are having trouble sleeping and would like to request an assessment should contact their personal physician for a referral at 1-833-833-3333 (TTY 711) or send a secure email to their doctor’s office on kp.org or the KP mobile app.

The Kaiser Permanente Hawaii Sleep Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). Services for Kaiser Permanente members include sleep studies to diagnose and treat sleep apnea and other sleep disorders. At-home sleep tests also are available for patients who meet qualifying criteria.
