Our team keeps growing!! Corey Smith is our newest and youngest of the bunch now!

He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Georgia Southern University in Savannah, GA, and completed his orthopedic residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. In addition, he holds advanced certifications in orthopedic manual therapy, dry needling, and bike fitting.

Outside the clinic, Corey enjoys cycling, running, and traveling with his wife.

Please help us in welcoming Amanda Farquhar to our Raines PT team! She has been PRN with us these last few months!

She went to the University of St. Augustine for her doctorate in physical therapy (graduated in 2017) and Valdosta State University for her bachelors in exercise physiology (graduated in 2014). She is from Valdosta, GA but moved a good bit when she was a travel physical therapist (5 years). After she married her husband who was in the Navy, they moved to Aiken in December 2024 from Jacksonville, FL. They wanted a quiet place with a small town feel to raise their son and found Aiken to be the perfect fit. In her free time, she likes being outdoors, working out, trying new recipes, and spending time with family!

She is an amazing addition to our team, full of knowledge and passion for what she does!

Last week we had to say “see ya later” to 2 of our best gals! They’ve been such an asset to us making our treatments more efficient and fun! Tatum - we will miss your partner wall sits, sweet personality & the love of all things Jesus & pickles! Shelton - we will miss your helpful hands, your smile, and always having an energy drink on hand! To our techs, we hope for nothing but the best as you both enter your 2025 college year! You are already both so dearly missed and we love you! Come back SOON!!!

Last week, we had the honor of attending two hard-working athletes & previous patients (one who is our current rehab tech) of ours in their official signing day to continue playing their favorite sports! ⚾️🥎 We are so proud of the both of them in their growth and maturity in both life and the game. Our hope is that they continue to stay healthy and just have fun playing ball at the collegiate level! Go Rams & Go Fire Ants!

Another PT student finished his 12 week clinical rotation last week and we are SO sad to see him go! Patrick always showed up with a smile and a plan to have a good time, making our patients enjoy coming to therapy despite the difficulties they were going through. He’s already an incredible PT & we look forward to seeing his career progress from here into the future!

This weekend, our clinic hosted for a dry needling continuing education course! Lots of sticks, twitches and maybe a little soreness later and all the participants received skills and knowledge in how to help serve their community even more! Thanks for instructing them!
