PTSD recovery asks us to focus on what is within our control.

We can’t control the flashbacks, triggers, or how others respond, but we can learn how to ground ourselves. We can choose to process these moments in therapy. We can build safety one day at a time.

Even if your nervous system doesn’t feel safe yet… That doesn’t mean you’re failing. You're still in the process of healing.
