Dale Crail's primary care physician introduced him to Galleri—a groundbreaking blood test that screens for many cancers before symptoms develop. Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center is the first hospital in Georgia to offer the test, which is performed with a single blood draw. Augusta University and Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center recently sponsored a day-long camp with Leaders and Adolescents Uniting to Navigate Careers in Healthcare. The camp brings K-12 students across the CSRA together with healthcare professionals to help them explore various careers in the healthcare industry. The “We Give a Shirt” campaign is back! Originally started in 2020 to help local businesses during the pandemic, the fundraiser has returned with a new goal: supporting five local charities, including Children’s Hospital of Georgia.
