I am Barbara Lawrence and I have been helping people buy and sell real property for 29 years. I found my way to Aiken in 2006 with my husband of 41 years. We have always lived in small communities but Aiken is unique in many ways from anywhere else we have called home. It has a deep and proud history, a wide variety of equestrian interests, a thriving art community, superb golf opportunities, and excellent educational and medical facilities. Historic downtown features boutique shopping and restaurants. The Hitchcock Woods is an over 2000 acre urban forest reserved for people, dogs and horses, with its historic main gate opening right off Laurens, the main downtown street. We have an excellent mix of retirement communities, family homes, new construction, historic homes, small and large farms, investment opportunities, waterfront properties and golf communities. There are numerous employment opportunities for all skill levels and the cost of living is such that life can be very comfortable, for all incomes.

I specialize in helping my clients find the home that makes them very comfortable. Be it a farm, a spacious home for many, or a nice little downsize that allows them to make the most of their time, I work diligently to meet their needs and desires, help get the financing, and most importantly, get all parties to closing.

I work just as hard to sell the home or property that my clients find themselves needing to leave. I try my best to offer solutions to maximize value, because after all, a home is more than just a home. It is an investment, often the biggest investment a person makes. I offer property management services to provide income to my clients when it is not realistic to sell. And I will think outside of the box to help put a deal together.
