Riverwood welcomes Physician Assistant Dayelise (Daya) Fleigle to our Orthopaedic Care team in Aitkin. She joins Erin Mason, PA-C, and Jeff Temple, CNP, in providing patient-centered care alongside our fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeons.

Daya brings a strong background in health care and a passion for helping patients stay active and healthy. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, music, and family time with her husband and daughter.

Scott is participating in the ๐—ฅ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ฃ๐—ต๐˜†๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—”๐˜€๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—บ (๐—ฅ๐—ฃ๐—”๐—ฃ), where heโ€™ll live and learn in our community for the next nine months. Scott will begin seeing patients on August 5 with Dr. Don Hughes, Riverwood Family Practice physician who acts as the primary mentor and trainer for resident physicians and medical students at Riverwood.

Over the coming months, he will also gain experience in obstetrics and gynecology, observe surgical care provided by local surgeons, and see patients in a variety of settings โ€“ including the clinic, hospital, emergency room, hospice, and within the community.

Originally from Little Falls, MN, he brings a patient-first philosophy to his practice sharing, โ€œI strive to create meaningful partnerships with my patients by fostering mutual trust and encouraging active engagement in their healthcare.โ€
