📣 We’re excited to announce that Keith Hochadel has been named CEO of CHC.
“I am so excited for this opportunity to lead such a tremendous organization like CHC. I have long respected the work the agency does in the addiction and behavioral health space and the leadership that has taken place not only in Summit County but across the state. Looking forward to continuing the momentum that has been occurring. Thank you to the CHC Board of Directors for selecting me to lead the agency and to the staff for being so welcoming.” – Keith Hochadel

Keith brings over 25 years of experience in the behavioral health field, including 10 years as CEO of CommQuest Services in Stark County and, most recently, serving as Chief Clinical Officer for Meridian Healthcare.
During that time, he has held key leadership roles not only within those organizations but also through his service on the Ohio Council of Behavioral Health and Family Services Board of Trustees, as a member of the Ohio Alliance of Recovery Providers, and by building strong relationships with local and state leaders. With a passion for patient care, team building, and advocacy, Keith has developed programs that address the need for not only a full continuum of addiction services but also access to mental health and primary care services.
Keith is a board member of the OneOhio Recovery Foundation, representing Region 6. The OneOhio Recovery Foundation works to appropriately direct opioid settlement dollars. He was elected as a Canton Township Trustee in Stark County in November 2023 and has served in that role since his initial appointment in February 2022.
Keith is a licensed professional clinical counselor with a supervision designation. He earned his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University in 2004 and his bachelor’s degree from Ohio Northern University in 1984. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Stark County 31st Signature Program. Currently, he serves as a non-attorney member of the Stark County Bar Grievance Committee.
Outside of work, Keith and his wife, Sarah, are proud parents to a son and daughter who attend Canton Local Schools, as well as a married son who lives with his wife and their son—Keith and Sarah’s grandson—in Cuyahoga Falls. Keith and Sarah also share their home with their Golden Retriever Jack.
