A little appreciation goes a long way! The ADM Board staff wanted to share a small token of gratitude with our Circle of Hope members and thank them for their incredible hard work throughout Summit County.

We dropped off workforce development books and writing notebooks for staff members of Shelter Care Inc. to enjoy. Inside each of the notebooks, there is a thank you note as well as more information on our workforce development efforts.

Again, thank you to Shelter Care for being a proud partner of the ADM Board’s Circle of Hope.

We had an incredible day with Release Yoga where we were able to provide some self care to those who work so hard to care for others! It was a day filled with laughter, relaxation, community, and gratitude. Thank you to everyone who came out, and a HUGE thank you to the team at Release who went above and beyond welcoming our system into your studio. We can't wait to do it again some time. 💚💚💚

It was an inspiring morning at the John S. Knight Center yesterday for Heart to Heart Leadership’s 33rd Annual Breakfast! We were thrilled to join fellow community members to celebrate purposeful leadership and hear from guest speaker Christine Amer Mayer, President of the GAR Foundation, as she shared insights on the future of our region. This year’s event was especially meaningful as Heart to Heart Leadership begins its exciting new chapter as an independent nonprofit. We are proud to support their mission of cultivating values-based leaders who help our community thrive.

Yesterday, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of the Dr. Fred Frese Residential Center on the grounds of Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare, a project made possible through a strategic partnership between the County of Summit ADM Board and the State of Ohio.

This facility addresses a critical need for mental health resources as inpatient clients transition back to the community, and we were honored to have the Frese family join us to celebrate Dr. Frese’s lasting impact across Ohio.
Following the ceremony, Community Support Services (CSS) provided tours of the new space to our attendees.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this project a success.

It’s been a busy and inspiring week for our Executive Director, Aimee Wade, as she connected with leaders and professionals across the state and right here at home.

On Thursday, May 7th, Aimee attended the Ohio Prevention Professionals Association (OPPA) Conference, engaging with experts dedicated to advancing prevention efforts across Ohio. She sat in on the "Engaging Your ADAMHS/MHRS Board to Champion Prevention" panel and gave insight on how to effectively engage in your local Board to elevate prevention.

She also joined the Leadership Akron Signature Class 42 Closing Retreat last night. Executive Director Wade had a wonderful time at the retreat dinner with future graduates, staff, board members, and supporters, celebrating a year of growth and community impact.

We are proud to see our leadership actively involved in these vital spaces, continuously building the partnerships that help Summit County Thrive!
