Floors
1.1. Floors and base moldings shine and are bright and clean.
1.2. There is no build-up in corners or along walls.
1.3. Floors are free from obvious surface dust, dirt, food waste, debris, carpet stains,
trash, streaks, and smudges.
1.4. Resilient flooring is maintained at a high level of luster, free of all types of marks.
1.5. All other flooring is free of dirt, debris, and foreign material and maintained at a high
luster level (disregard if floorcare is not included as part of this scope of work).
1.6. Carpet spotting blends with the surrounding carpet.
1.7. Carpets are clean and free of damage, dirt, debris, spots, and stains.
Surfaces
2.1. All vertical and horizontal surfaces have a freshly cleaned or polished appearance and
have no accumulation of dust, dirt, marks, streaks, smudges, or fingerprints.
2.2. Furniture and surfaces under 70 inches are free of obvious dust and dirt.
2.3. High cleaning surfaces above 70 inches are free of obvious dust, cobwebs, or other
extraneous matter.
2.4. Glass, clear partitions, mirror surfaces, and coverings are clean and free of obvious
dirt, dust streaks, and smudges.
2.5. Drinking fountains are free of dirt, stains, watermarks, and other debris or
encrustation. Drinking fountains are sanitized and view a high luster appearance.
2.6. Metal & wood surfaces are uniformly free of obvious dirt, stains, and streaks.
Surfaces will maintain a uniform luster, and wood and metal will have a protective
coat.
3. Restrooms
3.1. Restroom and shower fixtures and tile gleam and are odor-free.
3.2. Restroom supplies are stocked. Restroom supplies are replenished as needed to
maintain an adequate supply.
3.3. Partitions and walls are uniformly clean with no evidence of dirt, graffiti, dust,
splashes, stains, or other extraneous matter.
3.4. Dispensers are stocked
Dusting/Trash/Cleaning
4. Trash
4.1. Trash containers hold only daily waste and are clean and odor-free.
4.2. Containers appear nearly new.
4.3. Trash and recycling containers are lined and kept relatively free of dirt, stains, and
debris.
4.4. All recyclable materials generated in and around the building are collected and
moved to the designated areas specified by the client.
4.5. Stairways, landings, railings, risers, ledges, grills, doors, and surrounding areas are
free of obvious dirt, dust, stains, debris, and other extraneous matter.
4.6. Venetian blinds or coverings operate correctly, and both sides of blind slats are
uniformly free of obvious dust, dirt, grime, and water spots.
4.7. Window coverings are uniformly free of obvious dust, dirt, stains, and odor.
4.8. All other spaces not explicitly mentioned and covered by the scope of work are
uniformly free of obvious dirt, debris, and dust and present an overall appearance of
cleanliness.
4.9. Fixtures are uniformly clean.
