🪴 Group Spotlight: Little Sprouts 🪴
Led by Rachel, our Little Sprouts group focuses on helping children grow through hands on learning, creativity, and confidence building experiences every day!

In Little Sprouts, we work on:
-Fine motor skills like gluing, cutting, and using tweezers
-Name recognition, tracing, and developing pencil grip
-Following instructions through songs, games, stories, and craft/
-Building social skills, independence, and confidence
-Sensory exploration and engaging learning activities

Miss Rachel strives to make learning fun, encouraging, and motivating for every child as they grow!🌱

Donations aren’t required but are appreciated! Proceeds will be going to Best Buddies International and Autism Society of Greater Akron

At BBT, our center offers 5 different groups designed to support a variety of skills and learning styles 🌱💚

One of those groups is Seedlings, where clients work on building the foundations for success through beginner school skills, learning how to work together as a group, and exploring the world around them through play!

Miss Jess creates a fun, supportive environment filled with song boards, sensory tables, hands-on learning, and lots of opportunities to grow socially and independently. We love watching our Seedlings learn, explore, and bloom a little more each day ✨

🌈💛 April is Autism Awareness Month 💛🌈

As we close out the month let’s take a moment to celebrate, learn, and support neurodiversity because different minds make the world better 🧠✨

Here are a few important (and cool!) facts about autism:
🔹 Autism is a spectrum, meaning every individual has unique strengths, challenges, and ways of experiencing the world
🔹 About 1 in 36 children are identified as being on the autism spectrum
🔹 Many individuals with autism have incredible strengths like strong memory, attention to detail, and creativity
🔹 Some people with autism experience the world more intensely (sounds, lights, textures), which is why sensory-friendly environments matter 🎧
🔹 Communication looks different for everyone some people use words, some use devices, and all forms are valid 🗣️💬
💛 How you can show support:
✔️ Practice kindness and patience
✔️ Celebrate differences instead of trying to change them
✔️ Create inclusive, welcoming spaces
✔️ Listen to and learn from autistic voices
