Invite your friends and family to walk or run with you at Outrace Epilepsy! on August 16! Remember to tell them that kids 5 & under register for free, and everyone's registration comes with free admission to the zoo after the event!

The captain of the largest team will be presented an award after all of the 10K, 5K, and 1-mile runners/walkers finish. Last year, that honor went to Luke's Troops, with over 100 members!

Your team can also fundraise! Each team has a customizable page with a donate button that you can share. All proceeds go towards free programs for adults with epilepsy and families of a child with epilepsy.

Angelina hasn’t really been to school since before Easter.
So yesterday was a field trip her class took to go to Wendy’s and I was so thankful that Angelina was able to be a part of that.
We couldn’t walk the whole way,
as it was extremely hot and getting too hot can bring on some seizures, but we were able to see them and walk to them and still walk in as a class together at Wendy’s.
She was so happy 🤗

Angelina’s First time on her bike this year 🥰 I thought she needed a bigger one, but just needs a bigger seat and trunk support, so I am so thankful she can at
Least get one more year out of this bike.

She has been having so much mobility issues. Off balance, weakness, and overall Hard time walking in any way.

So her bike gives her a chance to keep those legs moving and slow down some of what these seizures are stealing.

It also gives her a chance to do a “typical kid” experience, riding a bike.

I am super proud of her as she did so well. I mostly have To push her and direct her of course but she had little burst where she did it all Her self .
