Steven Brooks, MD, has been named the Chief Medical Officer at Cleveland Clinic Akron General and Lodi hospitals effective April 21.

Dr. Brooks presently serves as the Medical Director of the Cleveland Clinic Akron General South Submarket and the Chair of the Emergency Department at Akron General.

He replaces Teri Lash-Ritter, MD, who was appointed as the President of Akron General and Lodi hospitals and President of the Cleveland Clinic South Submarket.
