‼️Update to the update
I'm hospitalized.
Went to ER because breathing too shallow, and pain when coughing was out of control.
IV, morphine, lidocaine patch, breathing treatment, blood tests, and CTscan.
Ribs 6,7 are malaligned. And there's more fluid on the lung, so IV antibiotics, etc. Pneumonia concern. What a frikken winter!!!
This ER at City, is packed. I'm the only one with a mask.
I miss the Grove.
I just was told I will have surgery. They adhere a plate to stabilize the breaks.

The update I didn't want to send. I was feeling well, pain was managed, until I went to the doctors yesterday. Then had to get a chest x-ray.

On the way home I coughed. Pain stabbed me in the back, it felt like a knife that went in and kept turning!
My screaming in the car totally unnerved Len.
He has been doing a good job taking care of me, however, the screams of pain and bodily contortions really upset him. It brings out his compassion for others.

I'm taking oxy, gabapentin, methacarbamol, naproxen, Tylenol, and icing, but it doesn't help this pain. I have a prescription for lidocaine patches, but Walgreens is closed on Saturday and Sunday!!
From my left scapula to under my left breast I get this scream out loud pain if I move or cough. I sit as still as possible.
Evidently I have another 3 weeks...or months...to go.
So go out there and enjoy life! I think i heard that a big storm is coming. I doubt it, I think the meteorologists are just getting bored.
Any extra good thought, reiki, prayers, voodoo or Dove milk chocolate, is appreciated!
I'm always thinking, and loving most of you!

Autumnal greetings! It was dark and rainy today, not much fun on the roads at night. But just over the horizon, a few columns down on my calendar, is the annual Candlelight Winter Solstice and Yule Service at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Akron, December 20, 6:30.

This is not just one more Christmas service with a different name.

Not at all! We are honoring the reason for OUR season - the return of the Sun and bright days to come on the horizon.

In ritual, song, and the telling of stories of the Lord and Lady, God and Godda, we bring you another way to understand the Old Path, what came first, before we separated into us and them - the Pagans and Christians.
