Our History:

Avenues of Counseling and Mediation, LLC is a private practice offering mental health counseling for children, adolescents, adults, couples, divorce & general mediation, chemical dependency counseling, academic and psychological testing. The practice was established in 1998, and celebrates 22 years of service to Medina County and surrounding communities. In 2014, Avenues expanded our practice to also accommodate Summit County and surrounding areas. In 2018, we added added Vivify Wellness at Avenues, an integrative and holistic wellness center, next to our Akron office, to help improve our clients overall wellbeing, Avenues has counseling locations in the historic Medina Square, and Ghent Square in Bath. We provide counseling in a comfortable, confidential, and professional atmosphere to guide individuals through challenges they experience. Our Mission:

Avenues offers an interdisciplinary approach to treatment including over 30 therapists with diverse backgrounds and specialty areas, several experienced clinical psychologists, offering a variety of modalities to meet almost any client's need. Avenues of Counseling and Mediation, LLC, is strongly committed to providing the utmost confidentiality and the highest quality of care for all of our clients.

Meet Dr. Renae Chung — a compassionate, experienced clinical psychologist who brings 30 years of dedicated care to her clients.
