I learned along time ago, that having healthy relationships with food are important. There were times, especially in my early adulthood that I would eat one meal a day or go all day with only a cookie. I was incredibly unaware of what I was doing to my body. A story for another time… however today, I eat in a way that is sustainable for me. Fad diets come and go. Once we understand what healthy eating looks like, it’s easier to control cravings, feed our body foods that are nutritionally dense, and not feel deprived in the process. Below is a recipe that I have used time and time again. You can eat as is. Freeze it to eat as an ice cream. I thought I would share.
3/4 cup of Fage plain yogurt (I used 2%)
2 tablespoons of PB fit
1 teaspoon or more of vanilla for taste
Sprinkle of sea salt
Tablespoon of honey (add more if you would like it sweeter. You can also use maple syrup, agave, sweetener)
Chocolate chips (I like Ghirardelli bittersweet. Again use what you like. I believe that Lily’s is also a brand of sugar free chocolate…. But I just can’t. It takes the fun out of life🤣🤣🤣 and plus I like to walk on the wild side. Seriously, who doesn’t like Ghirardelli. I digress!)
Anyway give it a go. If you want the macros…. Enter it into MyFitnessPal or another tracking app and it should provide the macros and calories. It will vary accordingly.
