After using hands on skills to reduce pain and improve mobility, these exercises, specific to the patients deficits, are what really make the lasting difference towards recovery.

Attention to detail and intentional care is part of what makes the difference.

Hannah just started back with us after her second lateral ankle ligament reconstruction. She’s new to weight bearing out of a boot which makes seemingly simple tasks like this, very challenging. *facial expression the second pic tells you everything you need to know*

This is a great early stage exercise for ankle stability! She tends to roll out on her left ankle so we’re using these wedges to give her extra feedback on the “tripod of the foot”. Big toe, little toe, heel.
