"The universe is in me, and I am in the Universe". This next fact may need updating, but when I was in Gendai Reiki training in Japan with Today's Gakkai Member Hiroshi Doi sensei, he said with apparent amusement "The youngest member of today's Gakkai is in his 80s". Now he said that 12 odd years ago.
I'll be 80 in March. I can verify that with age comes wisdom. I'd love to empower 4-6 Islanders to carry on the legacy after I Retire.

Founders of Gendai Reiki America circa 2010, we are currently headquartered in Worcester MA 01602. After 15 years teaching Western Reiki, The Gendai Reiki Path of Anshin Ritsumei was chosen by me to fully embrace (or chose me?) because in 2007 while teaching western Reiki at the Yoga Ashram I practiced at, I received the spiritual awakening aspect of Reiki in recognition of the vibratory resonance of the spiritual awakening I knew by the Hindu name Prana.

The connection was so complete that I set about searching for the Roots of Reiki in Japan and found Hiroshi Doi sensei and Gendai Reiki Ho. The resonance I felt was completely in line with my prana awakening and I became certain that this was my Direct Path to deepen my connection to Prana/Reiki/Holy Spirit and teach what I had realized with others.
