Great job everyone on your sit-up PRs, and mastering your pushups! We saw big improvements in form and speed, and you all will benefit from a stronger core! 💪
Now using that strength and momentum, we move forward into February which is Heart Health Awareness month, and the February Fitness Challenge is...1 min max reps of BURPEES!! 😄
A Burpee is a great functional exercise that mimicks many of the movements we do everyday such as bending over, lifting, getting up and down from the floor and jumping. And when done in succession, Burpees increase aerobic capacity and elevate heart rate, making Burpees a great cardio exercise! ♥️
So set your monthly Burpee goal and get ready to rack up those reps everyday after group class!
