I have officially completed my 300 hour yoga teacher training 💥

relearning, noticing, presence, awareness, reading, practicing, growing, stretching, patience, stillness, grounding, expansion, connection, purity.. the essence of a yoga teachers journey.

how beautiful and complex this path is. and I wouldn’t have it any other way 🤗

here is a walk down memory lane.. some of the special times this 11+ year journey of yoga has offered me. how blessed to be a part of these moments in time with such incredible people 💞

hi friends, my 500hr yoga teacher training journey is underway and it is giving me life.

literally. the life and purpose is pouring back into me with grace. it is refreshing to revisit the original teachings from my first training, and learn so much more about the transformative practice and lifestyle of yoga.

so this is me - as I am today. saying hi and sharing the beginning of this chapter with you

10 years ago I travelled solo to British Columbia to pursue a passion. Shortly after starting our program I quickly learned that said “passion” of mine held so much more meaning and depth than I ever imagined.

Over the course of the month I learned, laughed, cried, read, practiced, and developed.

Yoga teacher training changed my life. My trajectory, my mindset, my core beliefs.

To all of my fellow YTT teachers - I will always love you. I appreciate you all. I see how you are shaping the world. I acknowledge how you are positively impacting your communities and giving back. You are friends for life, in this one and the next 💫

and you two will forever have a special place in my heart for leading by example, holding space, and guiding us.

And biggest thank you to my mom and my brother ( and ) for supporting my journey in more ways than one. I couldn’t have done it without you.

Posting today to share my story, express my gratitude, and remind you that you are supported. Building the life you want doesn’t have to be something you do alone, you have a community who is here to help ♥️

this week I took many walks in nature, admiring the beauty of the earth. the sun gently kissed my face as the wind pressed against my back, drawing me forward on the trail.

it is in simple moments like these that I find myself the most grateful to be alive. what an honor it is to climb the rocks and hike alongside herds of wildlife. a gift to breathe fresh mountain air and be held by the elements.

easter holiday was different this year. I am used to teaching yoga, but this time there were no classes scheduled for me.. and I decided to attend yoga as a student.

it wasn’t as full as a normal weekend class, so there was plenty of space for us to flow and rest.

living so far from my family and friends makes the holidays a bit lonely. however having a space where I can share my practice on holidays and moments like this is pretty special.

the past few years have taught me many lessons, but one of the deepest was reflected through my personal growth.

our goals should not be measured by others results or efforts in their own endeavors. it sounds so simple and obvious, yet I have constantly compared my journey to others 🤷🏼‍♀️

this year has been one of santosha, or contentment. for what was, is and isn’t. acceptance and accountability. this year of realization serves as one of clarity! I am grateful for my journey and the process 🥲

International Day of Yoga

a day when people across the globe celebrate the intentional, centering, and transformative practice of yoga (union).

what I love about yoga is that it does not have to be practiced on a yoga mat or in a studio. it can be practiced with others through speech and action. towards ourselves with respect and contentment.

yoga translates to union. unity in all things. I love yoga and it’s purpose.

I am grateful for it and for you all. happy international yoga day my friends 🙏
