On Thursday, May 21st, the residents at BNRC enjoyed a wonderful Memorial Day Party filled with patriotic spirit, laughter, and fellowship. Residents celebrated together with delicious cake, ice cream, and refreshing lemonade while honoring those who have served our country. BNRC wrapped up Nursing Home Week on Friday with a fun game of volleyball. Residents had a wonderful time playing and laughing and working together as a team. Residents and staff at Dyer Nursing Home wrapped up Nursing Home Week with an unforgettable day filled with creativity, laughter, celebration, and wonderful memories! The fun started with making adorable marshmallow snowflakes, followed by a fabulous fashion show full of style and smiles. We ended the celebration in spectacular fashion with a Cruise Ship Ballroom Party featuring delicious donuts, a flowing white chocolate fountain, sparkling grape juice, and plenty of dancing and good company. It was truly a magical day that brought everyone together for fun, friendship, and celebration!

A very special thank you goes out to our incredible staff whose hard work, kindness, and dedication helped make this entire week such a meaningful and unforgettable experience for our amazing residents. Your compassion and commitment are what make Dyer Nursing Home feel so special every single day!

We wrapped up an amazing Nursing Home Week with smiles, laughter, and a special visit from the petting zoo! Our residents loved spending time with all the sweet animals and enjoyed a fun-filled activity together. ❤️

Residents and staff at the Dyer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center had an absolute blast celebrating Day 4 of National Nursing Home Week! The fun began with an Alaskan-themed homemade “I Spy” adventure where everyone searched for hidden wildlife while dressed a tacky tourist. 🐻🦌🐧

Next, we cooled things down by making delicious homemade ice cream together — a sweet treat everyone enjoyed! 🍦

And then came the biggest laughs of the day… our hilarious build a snowman contest! Staff members were wrapped head-to-toe in toilet paper to become “human snowmen,” complete with construction paper carrot noses and eyes. By the end, the dining room was filled with laughter, flying toilet paper, and plenty of unforgettable memories.

Who says you can’t have a winter wonderland in May? ❄️⛄😂
