is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit wellness and education center offering prevention programs, community care, and holistic healing through our Wellness Center and Trinity Turtle Healing Labyrinth Park—a space for movement, reflection, and growth. CAPPED is dedicated to providing primary cancer prevention education and support services for the people od Otero County, New Mexico. The CAPPED Building located at 907 New York Ave., is open Monday through Friday, 10-5 to help you find the most current health information from the most reputable sites on the internet.

Dear Friends,
I have just been made aware that a fraudulent account has been created to scam my Facebook friends. The account is set up as., “Tresa VanWinkle ll”.
THIS IS NOT ME. If you are contacted by anyone telling you that if you give them any amount of money (currently $1000) they will turn around and send you $100,000 or $150,000, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.
I do not know who these people are. They are using my name and my reputation in order to defraud people.
“Tresa VanWinkle ll” is not my account. They simply took my name changed it a little by adding the.”ll” at the end and opened an account to trick people into believing they were talking to me.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don’t fall into this get rich quick trap.
I love you all, and I’m so sorry to have to give you this information.

🎉 Many of your have noticed the progress on Trinity Turtle Healing Labyrinth Park over the past year. We are beyond thrilled to announce that we received a generous grant from the New Mexico Outdoor Recreation Division which funded the concrete and accessability ramps in Phase II construction at "Trinity Turtle Healing Labyrinth Park"! 🎉

We are deeply grateful for their support and belief in our vision to create a serene, outdoor space where our community can connect with nature, find peace, and foster well-being. This grant has been instrumental in getting the park ready for all to enjoy! 🌳🌞

A huge THANK YOU to the NM Outdoor Recreation Division for their commitment to enhancing outdoor spaces in New Mexico! We have applied for Phase III funding to complete the labyrinths construction and several park aminities. We look forward to sharing our progress with you all!

CAPPED, Inc. is a grass-roots 501 ( c ) (3) NM non-profit organization founded in 2000 in Alamogordo, NM. CAPPED is dedicated to providing primary cancer prevention education and support services for the people of Otero County, New Mexico. The CAPPED Building located at 907 New York Ave., is open Monday through Friday, 10-5 to serve you.

CAPPED programs include several educational programs to help individuals understand their roles in health promotion. CAPPED services include one to one support, advocacy and assistance navigating the medical system before, during and after diagnosis/treatments. In addition, CAPPED helps you find the most current health information from the most reputable sites on the internet. We are an official registration point for Angel Flights, non-emergency medical transport for second opinions, diagnostics, treatments and compassion flights.

CAPPED’s Center for Integrative Wellness also provides free holistic sessions including ionic footbaths, medical chair massages and zero gravity chair sessions to those navigating the cancer journey. We also have additional paid health promoting integrative services that help support all CAPPED’s programs and services.
