On February 8th and 22nd, I will be offering six 1-hour massage appointments each day to raise money for my cousin’s 7-year-old son, C**t, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes last summer.
C**t wears a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) 24/7 and is completely insulin dependent. His CGM tracks his blood sugar levels to help protect him from dangerous highs and lows. However, CGMs are not perfect—they can lag 10–15 minutes behind real-time glucose levels and sometimes give false readings or be more than 50 points off.
For a growing child who is still learning how his body feels at different glucose levels, this margin of error can be dangerous.
C**t’s family is raising funds for a diabetic alert dog. These incredible dogs are trained to sense changes in blood sugar levels faster than a CGM, adding an extra layer of safety and peace of mind.
💙 100% of the proceeds from these appointments will be donated directly to C**t’s GoFundMe.
