Winter Solstice
In Chinese medicine, tomorrow is yin within yin — the deepest, quietest point of the year.
Stillness at its fullest. Darkness at its peak.
And yet… this is also the turning point.

After tomorrow, the days begin to grow longer again.
A reminder that even at the deepest winter, yang is already being born.

In a few hours, I’ll be back in the cold, rainy winter of the Bay Area 🌧️
Leaving the warmth of Mexico — the ocean, the sun, the softness.
It feels especially meaningful because this is where I celebrated my 40th birthday —
surrounded by family and friends,
surfing while 5 months pregnant,
held by warmth, water, and community.
Now, I return to winter.
To rest.
To integration.
To the quiet work beneath the surface.
Honoring the cycle.
Trusting the turn.
