This , we’re highlighting some of our superheroes in the Melodies Center, like N'zyah! 18-year-old N'zyah from Ulster County visits the Melodies Center every month for infusions, and while it can be challenging, she tries to stay positive and smile. She thanks her care team, especially nurse Alison, for making her happy and caring about her health and well-being!

This , we’re highlighting some of our superheroes in the Melodies Center, like Kalimah! 9-year-old Kalimah has been a Melodies Center patient since she was born. She visits the clinic for treatment every six months. She says she's very thankful for Dr. Koblick and nurse Alison who keep her healthy and active. Kalimah is friendly, adventurous, and loves going to camp at Double H Ranch!

Thank you to UAlbany Football and their mascot Damien the Great Dane for visiting and bringing smiles to kids in the children’s hospital! They brought gifts and pumped everyone up with their “U-A, you know!” chant. We wish them luck this Saturday as they take on Cornell at home!

This , we’re highlighting some of our superheroes in the Melodies Center, like Noah! Twelve-year-old Noah from Hague was diagnosed with a brain tumor, called a germinoma, in July. Noah says he loves the entire care team in the Melodies Center, including Dr. Weintraub and nurse Sue. He says he loves to be outside and play baseball and basketball.

We had smiles and sunny vibes in Camp Amedore today, thanks to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, who brought the beach to the children’s hospital! They had arts and crafts, toys, ice cream, and goodies that brought a lot of joy to our families. Thank you RMHC!

To celebrate the end of his treatment in the Melodies Center, Evin rang the ceremonial gong, surrounded by his family and care team! Congratulations Evin!

Our children now have dinosaur stuffed animals to cuddle, thanks to a generous donation from Lucas’ Army, the Polsinelli family, and friends. The donation was made in honor of Melodies Center patient, Lucas, whose dinosaur comforted him through every hospital stay. The Polsinelli family says Lucas would be proud knowing they’re bringing comfort and joy to other children.

Thank you to 7 Brew Coffee for their generous donation and midday pick-me-up! As the company prepares to open a new location in Schenectady, they raised money through their pay-what-you-want fundraiser Caffeine for a Cause. Today, the 7 Brew team visited and brought a variety of iced coffee and energy drinks for our staff members. Thank you for supporting our community, your kindness fuels us all!

We are incredibly thankful for the ongoing support from Hyundai Hope On Wheels in the fight to ! Today, our Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders received $100,000 to benefit the Survivorship Program, which provides care and emotional support for children who have finished treatment. The celebration included a handprint ceremony where patients pressed their painted hands on a Hyundai and Dr. Jessica Geaney’s white coat to commemorate their brave battles with childhood cancer.

Santa’s on summer vacation, but he swung by the children’s hospital for a special celebration today! Logan Strong Foundation and Curtis Lumber Company hosted a Christmas in July party full of toys, pizza, and pictures with Santa. Thank you for spreading cheer for our patients and families!
