Our children are ready for Halloween, thanks to Spirit of Children! This week, volunteers from local Spirit Halloween stores filled Camp Amedore with dozens of costumes for kids to choose from. There were lots of smiles—even if they were hidden under spooky masks! Spirit Halloween is also collecting donations in-store to support our Child Life program, which helps children deal with hospitalization.

This , we’re highlighting some of our superheroes in the Melodies Center, like Samantha! In February, 17-year-old Samantha was diagnosed with a rare cancer called CIC:DUX4 fusion metastatic sarcoma, which originated in her kidney and spread to her lungs. After months of aggressive chemotherapy and radiation, Samantha’s excited to be back in school and dance class. She says she loves the Melodies Center team because they’ve gotten to know her personally, and they always brighten her day when she comes in for treatment!
