Sometimes, it's okay to be angry.
Unexpressed anger can lead to disastrous consequences when not properly released. So why not scream, yell, stomp your feet, or shake your body to let it out? Just be mindful not to do it while waiting in line at Starbucks or directing it towards someone working an eight-hour shift or behind the wheel!
When I get angry, I often have to step back and remind myself of two things: am I afraid of losing control, or am I afraid of rejection? It’s possible that I’m not speaking up or asking for what I need. I mean there are times in my life, I have no idea what the f**k I need?
Redirecting my anger can be a powerful way to become more creative, sensual, active, and spiritual.
Anger isn't bad, but it can become destructive if bottled up. Finding healthy ways to express it and let it go is important.
Scream, yell, run fast, paint, shake, and let everyone around you know that you are angry and you don't need them to do jack s**t, this is not a fix-it by someone else situation.
Underneath that ANGER onion peel is sadness, powerlessness, shame, anxiety, inadequacy, and isolation. Maybe even depression. So why don't you express your anger?
