You’ve read the books.
You’ve practiced what to say.
Maybe you’ve even taken courses or joined groups to get better at speaking.
But when it’s time to speak up...
💔 your heart races, your chest tightens, and the words stay stuck.
Here’s why:
The problem isn’t your ability.
It’s the story your nervous system still believes.
At some point, maybe in childhood, school, or even in a past job, YOU LEARNED THAT SPEAKING UP COULD LEAD TO => rejection, criticism, or being misunderstood.
And now?
Your mind wants to share…
But YOUR BODY REMEMBERS what it felt like to not be heard. Or worse, to be shut down.
That’s why no amount of surface-level practice truly shifts the fear.
Real confidence comes when your whole system—mind and body—feels safe to speak.
Here’s a small practice to gently reconnect with your voice:
-Before your next meeting or conversation, take a moment to pause.
-Place one hand over your chest and the other over your belly.
-Feel the ground beneath you. Take a slow breath in... and a longer breath out.
Then quietly say to yourself:
“It’s okay to be here. It’s okay to speak.”
You don’t need to force confidence.
Just notice what comes up - tightness, hesitation, or maybe even a little calm.
Breathe through what you feel. The NOTICING is the beginning.
This is the kind of work we do in Find Your Voice.
We go deeper than tips. We help you unlearn holding back and reconnect with a voice that feels like yours.
If this speaks to something you’ve been carrying quietly for years…
You don’t have to keep holding it alone.
📌 I put together a free 7-Step Guide that walks you through the deeper shifts that help you speak with more calm, clarity, and self-trust.
