A volunteer from our local Humane Society brought us an adorable visitor: Minestrone, a lively 3-month-old kitten. Minestrone and her sisters, Chowder and Pozole, are available for adoption! If you would like to adopt one of many wonderful animals in need of a good home, we encourage you to visit the Safe Haven Humane Society on Old Highway 34 in Tangent. Your best furry friend might be waiting there for you!

The theme of this year's National Assisted Living Week was "Ageless Adventure." We celebrated this theme by traveling around the world with snacks! Our International Snack Showcase featured sweet and savory treats from Mexico, South America, France, Greece, the Middle East, Korea, and Japan.
