With the Wide World of Yoga as her mentor, Carla's teaching style is joyful, holistic, and informative. She incorporates insights from many yogic traditions into her classes, reaffirming TKV Desikachar's assertion that "it's all one yoga"! To Carla this is no different than exploring and learning from all cultures of the world. In her early teens, Carla spontaneously started stretching yogically.
At 16, she embarked on 7 years of daily Raja yoga classes, and after completing degrees in Education & Nursing, Carla immersed herself in 7 years of Iyengar yoga studies, and thereafter went on to complete 17 yoga teacher trainings in different yoga styles: Ananda Seva Yoga Therapy 500, Integrative Yoga Therapy 500, Kripalu Yoga 500, Iyengar style, Anusara style, Adi Yoga, AyurYoga, Kundalini Yoga, Sivananda Yoga, Svaroopa Basics, Pilates Mat & Pilates Fusion, Yin Yoga, Yoga of the Heart, Yoga Meets Dance, Mini Yogis for Kids & Tweens/Teens, Full of Joy Yoga, and Yoga Movement. Carla continues to study the teachings of Angela Farmer, Bihar Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Shadow Yoga, TriYoga, Viniyoga, and Yin/Yang Yoga. Often on the cutting edge, 3 decades ago she combined manual therapy with yoga, and today she continues to create her "AllOneYoga!", an inclusive eclectic yogic blend featuring highlights from 27 yoga lineages. Last but not least, studying with various Tibetan & Vipassana Meditation Teachers has offered priceless guidance toward greater inner peace. Carla also brings to her teaching 37 years experience in Bodywork and Natural Therapeutics, as well as degrees in Education and Nursing.
