As we wrap up December, we’re reflecting with so much gratitude on how this community has supported moms, babies, and families all year long. Because of you, women walked through our doors and found hope, help, and people who truly care.

Like many women, Elaina didn’t know what to do when she saw those two lines.

Through friends, she found her way to Alpha — and with it, the guidance and support she so desperately needed.

At Alpha, she discovered that her pregnancy was not the end of her story… it was the beginning of a stronger one.

This month's team member highlight is Josie Green, our Nurse Sonographer! We are so thankful for Josie and all that she does for our Alpha team!

Ultrasounds are a critical part of what we do, and Josie loves being able to show expecting moms the precious life living inside of them. Thanks for all you do, Josie!

As we look ahead to the New Year with hope, we’re inviting our community of supporters to join us in prayer — because the work we do is far bigger than us.

+ Pray that abortion-minded clients would find their way to Alpha and encounter compassion, truth, and real support.
+ Pray for open doors to love and reach college students with the hope they’re searching for.
+ Pray for deepening relationships with churches and pastors as we work together to protect life.
+ Pray for the right person to step forward to serve as our next Director of Fundraising.
+ Pray for our Executive Director, Mike — for wisdom, discernment, peace, and strength as he leads.
+ Pray for strong, healthy partnerships with schools in our community.
+ Pray for fear and barriers to fall away for every woman who needs help but feels afraid to ask.
+ Pray that our counseling rooms would be filled not only with life being saved, but with souls being transformed.

We couldn’t finish today’s post without a HUGE thank you for our incredible team of volunteers. We could not do a fraction of this work without their faithful service, selfless hearts, and tireless dedication. Thank you for your heart and work with our team!

As we prepare for 2026, our prayer is not just to save lives — but to speak life into every person who walks through our doors, physically and spiritually.

We can't talk about gifts without mentioning our AMAZING volunteers who give their time and talents so generously!

Today we want to highlight one of our newest volunteers, Renee Huttle!

Renee has been with us for a little less than a year, serving as one of our class instructors. These classes are so crucial for the families that walk into our centers, and we're so grateful for volunteers like Renee that make them possible!

When asked what she loves about Alpha, Renee answered, "I appreciate the holistic approach that Alpha provides for new families. Not only do they deliver tangible items that infants need along with parenting education, but they also connect families with community resources to ensure supports are available long term. Families are empowered, treated with love, and babies are celebrated!”
