Did you know there are so many ways you can partner with Alpha?

One of the biggest needs in our ministry right now is layette items for new moms — but that’s just one way to get involved!

Here are a few meaningful ways you (or your group!) can come alongside the families we serve:
→ Host a “Party with a Purpose” baby shower to help provide essential items for moms and babies
→ Organize a Baby Bottle Drive to support Alpha financially
→ Join our Clink Program and turn everyday recycling into life-changing impact

We’ve loved seeing our community rally around these efforts—and we’d love to partner with you, too! If you’re interested in hosting a baby shower or learning more, we can even send a team member to share more about the mission.

This Easter, we celebrate the hope, redemption, and new life found in Christ. It is a beautiful reminder that every life is created with purpose, deeply loved, and worthy of protection.

Quarterly Impact Snapshot 🤍

In the first quarter of this year, because of your partnership, we were able to:

→ Serve 206 women and families
→ Provide 71 pregnancy tests and consultations
→ Host 463 parenting classes and support sessions
→ Distribute practical resources to families in need
→ See 29 babies born, 23 of which were at risk for an abortion

Each number represents a real story — a conversation, a moment of reassurance, a family supported.

Thank you for helping us serve our community with compassion, consistency, and care.

Every parent is valued. Every child is loved. Every life has purpose.

This weekend, we recognize both National Single Parents Day and World Down Syndrome Day — two meaningful reminders that families come in many forms, and every life carries inherent dignity and value.

We honor single parents who show extraordinary strength and perseverance each day. We celebrate individuals with Down syndrome and the joy, uniqueness, and beauty they bring to our communities.

At Alpha, we believe every child is precious and every parent deserves support. Thank you for standing with families in all seasons.

We LOVE our volunteers, and today we want to highlight Karen Wing!

Karen has been serving as one of Alpha’s main teachers since early 2022, after first connecting with Linda, one of our board members - and we are so thankful she did.

Karen first began serving one day a week in our back boutique and eventually stepped into monitoring parenting classes. Even after her family made the move out of state, she continues teaching and encouraging clients from afar.

She loves sharing about God and reminding clients that “the struggle is real, but God is always there.” She often tells them they can come by Alpha even for the little things - a hug, a listening ear, or someone to hold their baby while they have a good cry.

When she’s not teaching, Karen enjoys time with her family, being out on the boat with her husband, serving at church, and cooking. Spend any time with Karen, and you immediately feel her love for God and for our clients.

“I just love being part of and experiencing God’s goodness, and Alpha is part of that goodness.”

ICYMI the Baby Bottle Drive is BACK and (partly) virtual!

Churches and local partners can collect spare change with baby bottles, give online, or do both. Every gift helps support women, men, and families in our community.
