Today, we’d like to shine a spotlight on Dr. Charity G. Wilson, MD, ABFM here at The Veranda! Dr. Wilson is a board-certified family medicine provider at The Veranda, and we are so grateful for the compassionate care she gives her patients each and every day.

A little about her background:
Dr. Wilson went to Mercer University for undergraduate study, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After graduated from Mercer, she went on to Medical School at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta before finding her way down to Southwest Georgia for her residency with the Southwest Georgia Family Medicine residency program.

Dr. Wilson has been with us since 2008, right after she completed her residency, and we are so glad to have her here! In addition to her work here at The Veranda, she is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Medical Women’s Association, the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, the Georgia Medical PAC, the Medical Association of Georgia, and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.
